That September, in the rain.

This month has been hectic so far and it's only the 6th of the month. I left my job and a lot of people I would of previously relied on behind, sometimes the people you spend five days a week with you think are your best friends but they're merely there to keep your eight hour shift occupied with gossip and things to keep you awake.
I got to spend carnival with my girls again, even though they've been back in London all summer which is usually when I get to see them the most I spent my summer like a hermit, working and saving money, such a waste. Carnival was great, ciders and Pimm's, dancing in the street and everyone is just generally in a great mood.
I've hardly had time to see any friends this summer, it somewhat feels like I hardly have any friends left.  There's people I still miss and I wish things could go back to normal with but that's just wishful thinking, I've done my part, it's hurtful when you've been replaced but then again it must be so for them too, when you've replaced them.
My love life is non existent as usual. It seems my 'no flings/one night stands' rule just doesn't work for guys, I know I just haven't found the right one yet to keep me on my toes and keep me laughing and give me no heart ache. I'm extremely broody at the moment and pining over weddings, getting ahead of myself here.
In 42 hours I'll be on my way to LA to stay for a week, head to Vegas for four days, three day road trip to San Francisco where I'm staying for a week before heading home. I'm beyond excited and it'll be a great get a away for me to clear my head and get everything in perspective. When I'm back beginning of October it's job hunting time to bring in some money. Of course I'll update a holiday post once I'm back filled with beautiful pictures and memories.

Beans, beans, beans

Daddy ate some beans
And he drank some wine
And he was happy, happy, happy
As he drank some beans

12 and high on a Sunday

Feeling like we're grown
And we're nothing short of invincible

Alone in the clouds all blue

Lying on an eiderdown, Yippee! You can't see me but I can you. Lazing in the foggy dew, sitting on a unicorn. No fair, you can't hear me but I can you. Watching buttercups cup the light, sleeping on a dandelion. Too much, I won't touch you but then I might. Screaming through the starlit sky traveling by telephone. Hey ho, here we go ever so high. Alone in the clouds all blue lying on the eiderdown. Yippee! You can't see me but I can you.

I felt the luxury

She sat on the pavement, as I pulled in the drive
Wearing leopard skin velvet and shiny black eyes
"She looks like a sleeper", said my wife at the time
She had curls like Delilah and a smile like the sun
She held my poor corpse, like she'd never been done
and the caption in my mind said "This is the one"
But I'm strong and I'm disciplined and I avoided her for years
'Till one night, as usual, with my heart full of tears
A hand touched my back and she was standing right there
Then I felt the luxury of her, I felt the luxury of her,
I felt the luxury of her, I felt the luxury.
Whispering, Whispering.

This winters night the mistletoe kiss and tell

I need this jacket in my wardrobe for winter ASAP.
Maybe I can find a cheaper alternative as £100 is a lot for someone with no job.
It's the perfect coat <3
